Milvia Mendez of Schenectady Honored for Academic Achievement at The College of Saint Rose

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y., announced that Milvia Mendez of Schenectady, N.Y., is one of 112 students honored for academic excellence.
Mendez received the Viola MacDonald Award for Excellence in Hispanic Studies. This award is presented to a junior Spanish major who has shown excellence in Spanish studies (minimum GPA of 3.8) and who has demonstrated support for/involvement with the integration of Hispanic culture in the community-at-large.
The College of Saint Rose is a private, independent, coeducational, liberal arts college located in the heart of Albany, New York's capital city.
