Liana Morales of Aguadilla Honored for Academic Achievement at The College of Saint Rose

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, announced that Liana Morales of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is one of 127 students who were honored for outstanding academic achievement.

Liana received the Sister Theresa Wysolmerski Award for Excellence in Biology and the Academic Achievement - Class of 2019 Award at the annual Honors Convocation held on the Saint Rose campus. The Sister Theresa Wysolmerski Award is presented to a full-time undergraduate student majoring in biology, biology: adolescence education, biology/cytotechnology, medical technology or childhood education (biology concentration). Recipient must have minimum 3.50 grade-point average in the sciences and must demonstrate academic excellence, breadth of interest and general social concern. Academic Achievement Awards recognize outstanding students from the junior and sophomore undergraduate classes. Award recipients have achieved the highest cumulative grade-point averages in their respective classes.
