Cherokee Lynn of Walton Honored for Academic Achievement at The College of Saint Rose

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, announced that Cherokee Lynn of Walton, NY, is one of 108 students honored for academic excellence.
Lynn, a junior at Saint Rose, received the Viola MacDonald Award for Excellence in Hispanic Studies. This award is presented to a junior majoring in Spanish who has shown excellence in Spanish studies, maintaining a minimum 3.8 grade-point average, and who has demonstrated support for/involvement with the integration of Hispanic culture in the community-at-large. Student must be from Albany County and cannot be a transfer student.
