Ashley Cirone of Pleasant Valley Honored for Outstanding Academic Achievement at The College of Saint Rose

The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, announced that Ashley Cirone of Pleasant Valley, NY, is one of 104 students who were honored for outstanding academic achievement.

Ashley, a senior at Saint Rose, received the Outstanding Achievement in Geoscience Award at the annual Honors Convocation held recently on the Saint Rose campus. The Outstanding Achievement in Geoscience Award is presented to a senior geology or earth science adolescence education major who demonstrates outstanding potential in the field of geosciences. The recipient is selected by the faculty on the basis of academic performance, contributions to the program and involvement in related activities.
